I pledge allegiance to the flag, of the United States of America, and to the republic for which it stands, one nation, under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
Can we talk about the fact that it’s November already? Yeah. Craziness. I don’t really even remember September or October. And BAM - we are a few steps closer to Thanksgiving, and before you know it Christmas will be here.
And with all that, I’m reminded to take each day as it comes - good or bad - and love the people around me & to be grateful for all I’ve been given.
….It has been a crazy season. Started school, continuing to work and trying to find some time to land. This isn’t the most glorious of seasons for me, but I can feel that it will all be worth it, come May when I graduate, can start my career (& say goodbye to all of my jobs) and move forward in life. That. Is. EXCITING!
Anyway, some of my favorite things about November include,
Thanksgiving. Everyone (strangers included) seems really grateful/joyful during this month - I appreciate that. The cool breeze and bright colored leaves. Red cups at Starbucks come out in Nov. Dinner parties/holiday parties/baking parties/an excuse to eat & be merry parties happen.
Yeah. Some of the things I love about this month. What are yours?
"When life is heavy and hard to take,
go off by yourself. Enter the silence.
Bow in prayer. Don’t ask questions:
Wait for hope to appear.
Don’t run from trouble. Take it full-face.
The “worst” is never the worst.
31-33 Why? Because the Master won’t ever
walk out and fail to return.
If he works severely, he also works tenderly.
His stockpiles of loyal love are immense.
He takes no pleasure in making life hard,
in throwing roadblocks in the way:"
One of the first times we’ve not been scared of spiders. The more the merrier when it comes to J.W Anderson’s print!
